About Bryan
Bryan C. Thompson is a highly skilled attorney with extensive experience in elder law, estate planning, guardianship, corporate law, and health care law. A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Bryan joined Robinson & Lawing, LLP in 2023 after more than two decades of distinguished legal practice. His broad expertise spans estate administration, trust management, and representation of clients in state and federal courts, as well as before regulatory bodies.Bryan earned his J.D., cum laude, from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 1999 and later obtained a Master’s in Health Care Law and Public Policy from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2018. Since 2006, Bryan has served as Public Administrator and Public Guardian for multiple North Carolina counties, assisting courts with estate administration and guardianship cases. Because of these service efforts, he is selected to Best Lawyers in America’s Trusts and Estates Litigation Section and to the Corporate Law Section through peer annual review.Beyond his legal practice, Bryan is deeply involved in his community, holding leadership roles with organizations such as the Salvation Army, Trellis Supportive Care, Arbor Acres, the North Carolina Guardianship Association, and Cardinal Innovations, where he served as Chair of the Governing Board. An active speaker, Bryan frequently presents on topics related to elder law, public health, and governmental programs.
