Chris Page, a shareholder at Young Moore and Henderson, is an experienced and successful trial lawyer, serving as lead trial counsel in numerous state and federal jury trials since he began his law career in 1992. Chris represents a broad array of commercial clients, but his practice centers primarily on complex business litigation, employment litigation, and trademark/ trade secret litigation. He also regularly represents clients in non-compete litigation. He recently obtained a successful defense result for his client in a false advertising case with a claim in excess of $900 million. Chris attended the Yale Law School, where he served as Senior Editor for the Yale Law Journal, before graduating in 1992. Chris then clerked for Judge Thomas A. Wiseman (M.D.Tenn.).Chris is a frequent speaker on litigation and business topics, including employment litigation, non-compete litigation, the impact of the wearable device revolution on the employment relationship, and a primer for employers on social media use by employees. In the last six years, he created and presented at ALFA’s largest annual conference, the International Client Seminar (ICS), large, multimedia presentations on Creating a Culture of Innovation; Reptile Theory; Work-Life Balance; and a practical guide to working with employees from the millennial generation. He will be leading the opening session at the 2018 ICS with a presentation on creating a culture of innovation with a business.Chris is proud father to three children, including two Tar Heel girls (but he doesn’t hold that against them) and his teenage son, with whom he spent the last 8 years working with and achieving his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Chris’ charitable work includes volunteering for the Ronald McDonald House of Durham and Wake, for which he also serves on its Board of Trustees. Chris also was a regular driver for Meals on Wheels for 20 years. Chris teaches High School Sunday school at his church, and when he can find the time, Chris enjoys playing and listening to Americana music, theatre, cooking and traveling.
