Joining Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys in 2020, Ed Monsky brings more than 35 years of experience in representing people and businesses in motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, professional liability and workers’ compensation claims throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Currently he focuses on pre-litigation and workers’ compensation cases.At the beginning of his illustrious legal career, Ed served as law clerk for the Honorable Forrest Schaeffer of the Berks County Court of Common Pleas. Since then, he has participated in 25 jury trials and hundreds of arbitration/ administrative hearings throughout Northeast and Central Pennsylvania and federal courts. Additionally, Ed has expertise in Social Security disability claims, preparing wills, powers of attorney and living wills, and representing clients who serve as the personal representative of estates.Originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania, Ed earned a B.A. from the Haverford College, his M.A. from University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law. Ed is an active member of the community and has served as President of Lackawanna Pro Bono, an organization that provides legal services in civil matters to indigent clients, as well as a board member of the Lackawanna Bar Association.
