About Janice
Janice L. Davies is the Founder of Davies Law PLLC in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ms. Davies’ practice areas include tax, wealth transfer and business succession planning for individuals and closely held businesses and probate and administration of estates and trusts. She received her B.S. degree from Pfeiffer University; her J.D. degree, law review, from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law; and her LL.M. degree in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law. Ms. Davies’ professional activities include North Carolina State Bar (Member); South Carolina Bar (Member); District of Columbia Bar (Member); Pennsylvania Bar (Member), Florida Bar (Member); American Bar Association (Member: Taxation and Real Property, Probate & Trust Law sections); North Carolina Bar Association (Member: Tax section, and Council: Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law section, Former Chair, Legislative Committee (including Chair of the subcommittee for the North Carolina Uniform Power of Attorney Act); Former Chair: Joint Task Force with NC Clerks of Court Association); Mecklenburg County Bar Association (Member: Estate Planning and Probate section); and Charlotte Estate Planning Council (Member).
