About John
John Haynes' primary practice involves the development, acquisition, financing, leasing and sale of institutional quality investment properties, with a special emphasis on serving German clients. John has assisted many German investors with various deal structures, including fee simple purchases, ground leases, master leases and joint ventures with owners and developers who are based in the United States. He is one of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings' delegates to AFIRE, the Association for Foreign Investment in Real Estate. In addition, John has extensive experience in the development and financing of affordable and low income housing, including projects financed with bonds, low income housing tax credits and various state and federal grants, including HOME and HOPE VI Revitalization Grants. He has been involved in many redevelopment projects, with special emphasis on tax increment financing and other development incentives. John regularly represents developers, public agencies, owners, property managers and lenders. He has also represented international companies who have elected to locate facilities in Tennessee.
