About Jonathan
Jonathan Maier maintains an active labour and employment law practice in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. He advises employers on a wide range of matters including collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, wrongful dismissal litigation and matters before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.Jonathan advocates for employers who are forced to litigate against trade unions in certification, related employer or unfair labour practice proceedings. He advises on the negotiation and arbitration of collective agreements. Jonathan also acts as counsel to non-unionized employers on matters that arise at all stages of the employment relationship, including the hiring, management, restructuring and termination of employees.Jonathan is a member of the firm’s Student Committee.
