About Martin
Dr Martin Stockhausen has concentrated on banking law, corporate law and insolvency law since beginning his career as a lawyer. After founding Sozietät GÖRG, Dr Stockhausen focused on advising and representing (primarily institutional) creditors and debtor companies in situations of crises, while at the same time building up a separate department in the firm for advising credit institutions. Assisting debtor companies has included taking on managerial or executive functions (e.g. in the context of a double-trust), legal advising and representation of (large-scale) creditors to safeguard their interests in crisis situations, advising transaction processes in cases of crisis (asset deals or share deals) and legal advising and representation for insolvency administrators. This has also included safeguarding shareholder interests in crisis situations, and the comprehensive advising and assisting in the divestment processes.
