Preston Brasch is an associate based in our Calgary office. He is licensed to practice law in Alberta and Colorado, and has a developing cross-border practice that includes complex commercial dispute resolution and employment and labour. Preston's clients operate in a wide range of industries, including technology, aerospace, energy, food and agriculture, and transportation. Preston regularly advises his clients on all aspects of commercial dispute resolution, and has represented clients in the Alberta Provincial Court and the Alberta Court of King's Bench. His complex commercial litigation experience includes disputes arising from licensing use agreements, multi-party construction, negligence in the context of a multi-family residential fire, and allegations of breach of confidence, breach of fiduciary duties and the disclosure of trade secrets. Preston's employment practice includes advising employers in both the unionized and non-unionized contexts, and at the federal and provincial levels in Canada. Preston's employment experience includes claims related to employment and human rights disputes, interpretation of legislation and regulations, drafting policies and employment contracts, and mergers and acquisitions.
